Verida Volunteers at Summer Art Program for Children in Little Rock, Arkansas

Volunteers from Verida Arkansas inspire youth to get creative during the summer months with a Paint Balloon Dart Board fun day.
The Verida Operations team volunteered their time to give back to the Central Arkansas community this summer. They supported the Dee Brown Library and their Summer Art Program for kids and teenagers between the ages of six and nineteen.
The event titled, Adventures in Art: Paint Balloon Dart Board, gave kids and families the chance to be a little creative, and messy at the same time. Balloons were filled with paint in a variety of colors and attached to a canvas. Kids take aim, and voila, a masterpiece of art is created.
The Verida team was inspired to keep volunteerism going after successfully supporting the recent Summer Cereal Drive in Little Rock. “It was so rewarding” commented Shonniesa Gaston, a Call Center Team Lead at Verida. “The most rewarding thing for our team was the smile on the children’s faces and the laughter in the air. They really enjoyed themselves and it did all our hearts good!” commented Gaston.
“It was an honor for us to participate in this event and give back to the community we serve. There definitely is excitement and inspiration to do more in the future,” says Verida State Director, Cynthia Washington.
