Verida Provides Information and Supplies to Expecting Mothers at DCH Baby Shower Event in Cobb County Georgia

The Georgia Department of Community Health sponsors special Baby Shower events to pregnant/expecting women who are insured through Medicaid, to share support and resources. Verida has been an active participant supporting the State of Georgia’s program for more than two years.
Key community groups and vendors joined in celebrating the wealth of members they serve.
Verida was onsite providing member-related information and speaking with members about the use of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services. Each person that came to the Verida table received educational literature regarding provider transportation, public transportation, as well as a raffle ticket which qualified them for a drawing. Verida gave away gift bags that consisted of bottles, bottle cleaners, wipes, a hygiene pack, and pacifiers. The event normally hosts about 40-50 people, with a total of twelve vendors. The event takes place in four different counties in our North Georgia territory (Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb and Dekalb).
