January 23, 2013, Atlanta, GA – Verida has been awarded a contract with the Arkansas Department of Human Services to manage Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services in Regions 7 and 12. The contract begins February 1, 2013, and contains renewal options through June 30, 2017. Verida will be managing Medicaid NEMT services in seven counties, including the Little Rock area, serving approximately 100,000 Medicaid beneficiaries.

Verida will manage the Arkansas NEMT Program using its new NET InSight trip management software including mobile automated trip tracking and verification technology.
