Andrew Tomys

Georgia State Director of Operations

Andrew Tomys is the State Director of Operations in Georgia. He is responsible for the operational management of all business activities related to Non-Emergency Medical Transportation contracted services in the state of Georgia, including oversight of all internal functions and operations. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in technical, project, operations, logistics and general management, and over 16 years’ experience in the Medical Transportation industry. He joined Verida in 2007, serving as regional manager and corporate network development director.

Andrew holds degrees in both Business Management and Mechanical and Production Engineering from Huddersfield University, England, as well as an Engineering Industry Training Board Certificate and a National Certificate in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Dewsbury Technical College, England. Additionally, he is certified as a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate and earned an Ambulance Technician Certification (in the UK).
