Virginia Interim State Director of Operations

Darlene Winkles is the Interim State Director of Operations in Virginia. In this role, she is accountable for the day-to-day operations of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services while bridging the gap between our clients, transportation providers, health care professionals, and enrollees.

Darlene has 22 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, process improvement, staff development, and program administration. Proven ability to successfully maintain the organization’s critical business requirements, create innovative cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues.  Darlene holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and still holds a license as an Emergency Medical Technician.
