Verida Participates in Emory University Hospital 2nd Annual Bridging the Gap Resource Fair

Atlanta, GA, March 26, 2024 –

Verida continues its mission of sharing information regarding Medicaid member transportation benefits by participating in the second annual “Bridging The Gap” community resource fair hosted by Emory University Hospital (EUH) in Atlanta, Georgia today.

“Many of Verida’s member population resides in the Atlanta Metro area and it is important to our organization to partner, educate, and support those healthcare agencies and social workers who aid members in managing better health outcomes,” says Verida Facility Outreach Manager, LaTonia Dixon.

Last year, the EUH Social Services department successfully hosted its inaugural Bridging the Gap community resource fair, drawing significant participation from staff and agencies.

In celebration of the 2024 Social Work Month theme, “Empowering Social Workers,” the 2nd Annual Bridging the Gap community resource fair welcomed over seventy-five social workers and agencies and thirty vendors to today’s event.
